Good news if you're a fan of tacos (and if you're not, I'm not sure we can be friends), Taco Bell is letting you stop by and get one of their Doritos Los Tacos for free on October 30th (2019), and you can thank a guy by the name of Trea Turner for it.

You see for the past few years, Taco Bell has done a promotion centered around the World Series called "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco." The premise is pretty simple, if a player from either team competing in the World Series manages to successfully steal a base during any game of the series, Taco Bell will give everyone in America a free taco. Guess what Trea did last night during game one? As the photo above shows, the shortstop for the Washington Nationals stole second after making it to first on a single during his at-bat. Now it's time for Taco Bell to pay up.

You'll be able to claim your free taco in person (dine in or drive through) at any participating Taco Bell location in the Tri-State between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. your time (regardless of whether you're in the Central or Eastern time zone in the Tri-State), all you have to do is ask for it. However, if you have the Taco Bell app, you'll be able to order your free taco at any time during that day. You'll still have to go pick it up, but the ordering window is obviously more open.

Find the Taco Bell nearest you on this handy map. Although let's be honest, you probably already know. It is Taco Bell after all.

Enjoy, and on behalf of taco-loving Americans everywhere, thanks Trea.
