Southbound Twin Bridge Closed Friday For Fatal Crash Investigation

After a fatal crash on the Southbound Twin Bridge on Monday morning, crews will be closing the bridge to investigate the site of the crash on Friday.The City of Henderson said that the southbound bridge will be shut down on May 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. as part of a follow-up investigation of the fatal crash.

Drivers will be directed to the northbound bridge during this time. According to The City of Henderson,

During the southbound blockage, traffic will be alternated at about 5-minute intervals along the northbound bridge to allow some traffic from each direction to keep moving during the southbound closure.  There will be a substantial police presence to assist with traffic control.

This means that there is a possibility for congested traffic and possible delays. It would probably be a wise decision to give yourself some extra time in the morning to get to your destination.
