Record Rainfall in Evansville

Watch out for high water. Thursday was the wettest April 3 in Evansville history. We experienced 4.96 inches of rain yesterday and an additional 1.11 inches since midnight.

With over six inches of rainfall in the past 24 hours, there are numerous road closings in the area. Don't drive through standing water and do not drive around barricades.

The good news is that the rain is moving out of the area and it will be dry and cooler over the weekend.
