Indiana Pit Mix is a Big-Eared Beauty Who Loves Belly Rubs

Meet TESSIE, our adoptable Pet of the Week from It Takes a Village. TESSIE is a two-and-a-half-year-old Pit mix who weighs in around 45 pounds. TESSIE is a sweet girl with some big ol' ears, a beautiful brindle coat, and an affinity for belly rubs.

TESSIE has been popular with ITV's Rent-a-Dog program. One recent renter had this to say about TESSIE, "Tessie was so well behaved! She was an excellent car rider!! She had some zoomies on the leash and would probably love the dog park or a fenced area to really let loose. She was on her best behavior sitting outside at the coffee shop though and was a super sweet girl to everyone who passed by."

31 Dogs Seized from Unlicensed Puppy Mill in Southern IL

Saved by Grace Animal Rescue was called to assist in the seizure of 31 dogs from an unlicensed puppy mill in Jasper Co., IL. The rescue is asking that you do not contact them regarding the dogs as they are not adoptable at this time. They are asking for monetary support to assist with vet bills and care.
