Recently, on a trip to visit my son in Indianapolis, he took me to a really awesome place to eat called The Garage. It's located in a part of downtown Indy called the Bottleworks District. As soon as I saw it, I wanted to move there.

What is the Bottleworks District?

What is the Bottleworks Hotel and what did it used to be?

Andy Jenkins describes it like this,

<div dir="auto">The BottleWorks Hotel and Garage in Indianapolis along Mass Ave. Formerly the largest Coca-Cola plant when built in the 1920’s. Multiple buildings repurposed into a Art Deco hotel, food court and entertainment area . Now know as the Bottles Works district along Mass Ave.</div><div dir="auto">We arrived between 6:30-7:00 pm yesterday and it was hopping. The “ Garage “ was full of people eating and drinking . It took several minutes to get a table to sit at so we could eat.</div><div dir="auto">They have a variety of food options to choose from pizza, Clancy‘s Hamburgers ,Greek, J Lobster’s, as well as others . There’s two parking lots behind the Garage as well as a parking garage. Valet parking is available at the hotel.</div>

Great location! Very Walkable trendy area with good food options around. The Garage Food court was too loud for us so we ended up at cute Mimis meatballs. Very dog friendly. Nice coffee shop attached to the hotel for our morning Joe Hotel rooms were huge, lovely comfortable king bed, giant shower with a shower head coming from above. Great water pressure. The Bottleworks district is such an amazing place to visit and stay! The hotel is just absolutely gorgeous, having been renovated back to a gothic, art deco style from it's original era. The history is cool and interior design are perfect. The camera wall and suitcases were my favorite! The proximity to the other fun things to do...eat and play games allows you to stay put and walk across the street to have excellent food, drinks and duck pin. I highly recommend!!!
