To forgive someone who you feel has wronged you is one of the hardest things to do. I myself have struggled with forgiveness. Like everyone, I have had things happen to me bu others that hurt me deeply and left scares that still have yet to heal. Even those who are spiritual and follow the Bible and Jesus' teachings of forgiveness, struggle to let go.

Why is it so hard for us to forgive? Why do we want to hold onto hate and resentment? It really only hurts us. Holding onto pain, in your heart and mind, can change the course of your life and those around you. The stress can affect your health as well. Your inability too forgive never hurts the person that you can't forgive. Other things might, but not your hurt.

It's not about who is right or who is wrong. It's not about who wins or who losses. It's about taking care of yourself, moving on in a positive direction and leaving the painful past behind you. You don't have to forget, you probably won't be able to. But, you can forgive.

'I forgive you.'

Thank you, Brandt, for being an inspiration of kindness, hope an love.
