Local ‘Patio Night’ to Feature Competitive Card Games and Dance Lessons
From the office of Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke
The weekly Patio Night event will feature “Spades Night” from 6pm-9pm this Friday, June 26, at the C.K. Newsome Community Center, 100 E. Walnut Street. Residents are invited to attend the FREE event and are encouraged to bring a partner and their “best game of Spades” for a fun evening of friendly competitive card games.
Patio Night provides a welcoming atmosphere to the public and an evening of food, music and family entertainment. This week’s Patio Night will also provide an opportunity to learn some new dance moves from a dance instructor from 8:15pm-9pm.
Patio Night is held every Friday at the C.K. Newsome Community Center through September 7. For additional information, contact Evansville Department of Parks & Recreation Sports Director Lisa Wube at 812-435-6162.
