If you're the type who loves to hit up as many festivals as possible, what do you look for in such an event? If you're like me, when I see "the nation's largest outdoor food festival," I really don't need much more arm-twisting than that. The fact that it's a quick two-hour drive away in Nashville makes it better.

FoodieLand - Nashville

That "nation's largest outdoor food festival" is not hyperbole on my part, and I doubt it's hyperbole on the part of FoodieLand - Nashville, which figures to make Music City an even tastier destination on the last weekend in August.

In fact, let's give you a little "taste."

FoodieLand can make any city a food city upon its arrival as it "travels" across the country. On its website, FoodieLand is described as being "built on the country's largest networks of independent food and merchandise vendors." I can't think of a better way to expose the masses to incredible local food and craftsmanship.

(By the way, that site displays an image of someone holding up a sign that says "Hawaiian honey cones," and now I have to have one, whatever it is.)

FoodieLand Across the Country

It all got started in 2019 with a festival in Berkeley, California, which drew thousands and proved to the FoodieLand organizers that they could take this show on the road and introduce great food to even bigger crowds...like these two influencers who dove headfirst into FoodieLand - Phoenix earlier this year at the Arizona state fairgrounds.

In addition to Phoenix, over the last seven years, the festival has also expanded to Las Vegas, Dallas, and Los Angeles. And now, it's coming to Nashville and, more specifically, the Nashville Superspeedway, August 28th through the 30th.

Make plans now; go ahead and start loosening your belt.
