For the first time, the Vanderburgh County Fair will serve beer in 2026, thanks to a new Indiana law that was recently passed.

The 105th Vanderburgh County Fair runs from Monday, July 20, to Saturday, July 25, 2026. As always, you can expect a week full of entertainment, delicious food, games, and rides. It's fun for the entire family. One of those events includes the annual concert on Wednesday night. This year, the show will feature rising country artist Braxton Keith.

However, Braxton Keith won't be the only newcomer to the Vanderburgh County Fair in 2026. Something new is brewing at the Vanderburgh County Fair during the night of the Kenny Kent Toyota Concert.

The First-Ever Beer Garden at the Vanderburgh County Fair

A new law, signed in February, allows for permits to be issued for the sale of alcoholic beverages at county and state fairgrounds, under certain limitations and requirements, starting July 1. The bill covers beer, wine, and liquor. You can read more on that and the requirements by clicking here.

So, since the Vanderburgh County Fair will be happening after July 1st, that makes them eligible to sell alcoholic beverages with their first-ever beer garden. According to a post from the Vanderburgh County Fair, the beer garden will be open on Wednesday, July 22 during Kenny Kent Toyota Concert Night. It will be located by the grandstands and operating from 5:30 PM until 9:30 PM. The post does state that a $10 arena wristband is required, and you must be 21+ with valid ID
