On the last Wednesday of each month Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke hosts a Traveling City Hall. This month you have the chance to learn more about the American Red Cross's Home Fire Safety Campaign.

The Traveling City Hall takes place this Wednesday, April 26th from the 5:30pm-7pm at the American Red Cross building at Stockwell and the Lloyd. Representatives from the American Red Cross will be on hand to share details about the program, which includes free installation of smoke alarms and/or the testing of existing smoke alarms. While at the meeting you can sign up to receive one of these free smoke alarms and schedule your appointment for the free installation.

You'll also learn how you can get involved with other Red Cross volunteer opportunities. Maybe you can be one of the volunteers that helps install some of these smoke alarms? There are plenty of ways to get involved and help others in our community.
