Emil Herzog is a Good News Chaplain at the Daviess County Detention Center. He has served as chaplain in Daviess County since March 2004.

Chaplain Emil Herzog serves as evangelist, pastor, counselor, mentor and friend to those who are incarcerated and the staff who guard and protect them.

Emil Herzog is passionate and humble about helping the incarcerated. He talked about the moment he heard God speak to His heart about becoming a Pastor.

He also speaks openly about the struggles the inmates wrestle with and how he shares the Gospel with them to give them hope and peace.
