EPD Releases Surveillance of Possible Car Break-In Suspects

The Evansville Department released surveillance video on Friday morning of a group of people they believe are responsible for several vehicle break-ins.

I reached out to EPD Sergeant Jason Cullum by e-mail for more details on both the individuals and the locations of the break-ins, and he told me the suspects in the video are believed to be responsible for break-ins in various parts of the city, at various times and days.

He went on to say the Department was not releasing the exact location of the above video to prevent the individuals from returning to the scene and destroying property.

Clearly the video doesn't provide a very good look at the faces of anyone in the group, however, if there is something you might recognize (an item of clothing, the way one of them walks, whatever) that could help the EPD identify and locate any of the individuals, they ask that you contact the Department's Crime Prevention unit at 812-435-6135 or the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor's anonymous WeTip Hotline 1-800-78-CRIME.
