Did You Know There is a ‘Floor is Lava’ Game in Kentucky?

I am so late to this party! Until this week, I had not heard of this show and had no idea that it's become a bit of a cultural phenomenon. And, honestly, this kind of thing is right up my alley. That's precisely why, when my friend Nikki Christian shared this post, I was immediately intrigued and ready for a road trip.

What caught my attention, other than the fact that the game looks completely bonkers, exhilarating and nerve-wracking, is the fact that it's in Louisville, Kentucky.  Plus, there's a location in Lexington as well.

Here are some of the things you can do inside the game.

There are several different rooms to try and you can play, replay, and skip rooms. There are also 10 different challenge levels so kids and adults can both have fun and you can come back and up the challenge level.

Play together or against each other.

There are multiple gaming sites all over the US so you can compete against others all over.

As FB user Ciara Beitlich commented, "Never thought I’d say this, but looks like I need to go to Kentucky."  Heck, I'm already here!

While watching videos and researching for this story, I stumbled across something ridiculously impressive.  Check this out!  About a year ago, a 40-year-old careered the grid and beat Level 7 of the game. This looks insane!

The Lexington location is 2312 Sir Barton Way Suite 150.

A minimum group of two people is required to play, though you can have up to a group of five. The cost is $25 per person.
