The Tri-State's premiere charity boxing event returns to the Ford Center when Guns & Hoses 10 celebrates a decade of domination on Saturday, April 22nd beginning at 7pm!

This year, at 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays sponsored by Henderson Chevrolet, we battled nasty weather but Santa's elves are tough! Night and day for three days straight police, firefighters, DJs and Henderson Chevrolet collected toys for boys and girls who are spending the holidays in the hospital.

But, through the determination and generosity of the tri-state (and a little Christmas magic), sick kids spending the holidays in the hospital will be able to forget about their worries for a few hours when they open gifts on Christmas morning!

The topics of discussion were the annual charity boxing match between the cops and the firefighters, plus the EPD's new "Choose Not To Lose" program, and the EFD's momentous anniversary.

Every holiday season, for three days, police officers, firefighters, and medics camp out at the Evansville Wal-Mart East parking lot to collect toys.  Indispensable support is provided by Townsquare Media,  Henderson Chevrolet, and Wal-mart.

The 5th annual Guns & Hoses charity boxing event is coming up this Saturday night at the Ford Center in downtown Evansville. As always, the event will raise thousands and thousands of dollars for 911 Gives Hope and the local charities that the support.
