Cake Challenge For A Great Cause

A very special cake challenge is taking place TODAY at the downtown Old National Bank location. Aspiring amateur cake bakers and decorators are showing off their work to raise money for the American Cancer Society and the Vanderburgh Co. Relay For Life.

The event is from 10:30am-2pm. There is a $10 registration fee if you would like to show off your culinary skills. There are two categories...Taste and Presentation. And even if you aren't much of a baker, I'm sure you are a big fan of EATING cake. For just $2 a slice, you can sample as many of the cakes in the "Taste" category as your little stomach can handle. The cakes from the "Presentation" category can also be yours...they can be bought during a silent auction.

Proceeds will benefit the Vanderburgh County Relay For Life with the American Cancer Society.
