The Owensboro Police Department, in conjunction with the Daviess County Sheriff's Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Department of Labor, has uncovered a suspected prostitution ring at a local massage parlor.

On Tuesday, February 28, 2017, the agencies involved executed four search warrants at various locations within the city of Owensboro. The target of these search warrants was
a business named Relaxing Touch Massage located inside Towne Square Mall and people affiliated with it.

OPD Street Crimes detectives actually began investigating Relaxing Touch Massage in May of last year after receiving complaints from the community related to suspected
prostitution. After hundreds of hours of investigations, detectives determined that sex acts were in fact being performed for monetary compensation.
