October 3rd Edition of Wednesdays With Winnecke [Audio]

The new Evansville Citizen Concern app…healthy Fall Festival food options…the next traveling city hall…and an exciting new announcement regarding Clean Evansville were all covered on the newest edition of Wednesdays With Winnecke. You can hear the entire show here.

First up, Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke reviewed the brand new Citizen Concern app. A week after its launch, we discuss why it was created and the benefits of using it. The Mayor also offers up several healthy food alternatives available down at the Fall Festival. Finally, in the first segment, Mayor Winnecke touches on when and where is next Traveling City Hall will take place. Listen to segment 1 below.

We were joined by WFIE General Manager Nick Ulmer in the second segment today. Mr Ulmer was here to discuss an exciting new contest to help get our high school students more involved in the Clean Evansville effort. The “Operation Hot Mess” contest will let area high schools compete against each other to see who can pick up the most trash. You’ll definitely want to hear Mayor Winnecke and Mr. Ulmer explain this competition. Here it below.
