This week's edition Wednesdays With Winnecke was spent talking about the creation of "We Are Evansville." Mayor Winnecke was joined by two of the USI students responsible for this grass roots movement.

In the wake of the recent Gallup Poll naming Evansville the 8th most miserable city in America, a group of Public Relations students at the University of Southern Indiana wanted to do something that would allow folks to show their pride in our city. But what do you do? That's what their professor, Pam Hight, asked them. Together, her class came up with the social media driven movement known as "We Are Evansville."

Two students from the class, Jessie Marks and Jessica Kelly, sat down to discuss this project with Mayor Winnecke. Listen to their interview below, and then make sure to 'like' the We Are Evansville Facebook page.
