You’re Invited to the Inaugural Friends of the Foundry Gala!
My daughter, Ava, is six and has been dancing for three years. I can't believe she has three years under her belt already! It's worth the countless hours spent at the studio - she absolutely loves it. And she lives for the recitals. A couple years ago, we decided to try a class at The Foundry Center for the Arts. She loved the teacher, Miss Sharon, and even though there weren't many girls in the class, it grew quickly. I'm proud to announce Ava was promoted to a higher level class and her passion increased even more.
We like The Foundry, located next to Schnucks in Newburgh, because of their non-competitive atmosphere, faith-based principals, positive and age-appropriate teaching methods, and their belief that students need to learn fundamentals but they should also given the freedom to express themselves creativity. And the Foundry doesn't just offer dance. They also have classes in painting, pottery, photography, creative writing, choir, musical theater, acting, music, after school programs, camps, and private lessons. There is always a LOT going on and it's an amazing non-profit organization to have in our community.
To help fund some of the expenses, The Foundry Center for the Arts will be hosting their inaugural Friends of the Foundry Gala on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 6:00pm at Rolling Hills Country Club in Newburgh, IN. Join them for an evening of dining and entertainment as they share the vision for the future of The Foundry Center for the Arts. The goal of this event is to raise funds to support a goal of $200,000 needed to sustain daily operations to fulfill their mission.
The evening will include performances by The Foundry Big Band and other local artists, a silent auction and dinner. The menu for this event is fresh tossed salad, hot rolls and butter, pan roasted chicken with lemon buerre blanc sauce, herb roasted red skin potatoes, sautéed green beans and New York cheesecake.
Tickets for the event are $50 per plate. For further information or to purchase tickets for the Gala go to www.foundryarts.org or by calling the Foundry at (812) 858-3082.
They are also currently accepting cash donations and/or gifts that will be used for the Gala’s silent auction. Please note that items need to be received no later than November 9th and can be dropped off at the Foundry. The Foundry believes every contribution makes a difference, regardless of the size.
We greatly appreciate your utmost consideration.
