If you've been listening to the radiothon, you've probably heard the St. Jude mac and cheese story. St. Jude goes to the most amazing lengths to normalize the lives of children whose lives aren’t normal at all. They'll call grandma to make her mac and cheese recipe.

We were so impressed by the way the Tri-State stepped up for our annual St. Jude Radiothon that we are putting our money where our feet are!

In January, we were invited to go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for the St. Jude Country Cares conference. It's where a bunch of radio people get together and talk about all the new and exciting things going on at St. Jude and meet patients and their families.

We've been talking a lot about St. Jude Children's Research Hospital  both on-air and online. We've talked a lot about the medical breakthroughs and patient care but sometimes we forget that these kids are kids. And, they want to be normal kids. At the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, one will find a wall filled with a long row of letters and notes from kids receiving treatment.

Recently, our DJs were invited to Kenny Kent to get in the cash and grab booth and grab as much money as we could for St. Jude. They presented our check today. We grabbed $1001.00 and had a blast doing it!
