A field fire in Illinois got out of control and jumped the interstate shutting down traffic for two roadways for a period of time.

Wall chargers are a necessary part of modern life as most of us have many devices that need power. The week began tragic for a neighborhood in Missouri where it's believed a faulty water heater may have caused a house to explode injuring 9 and killing 1.

This is sadly a teachable moment about being careful when you buy a replacement battery for a device or appliance when one fails. One Missouri family had a battery go bad on their Dyson vacuum. They found a replacement for it on Amazon which eventually led to their home burning to the ground.

This is the nightmare scenario when you leave your dog alone in your home. Security camera video shows a grease fire that was accidentally started by...you guessed it...the family dog.
