Now, you can chat with your kids about something on their level, and actually sound like you know what you are talking about.

It’s hard to pass judgment on iPhone’s new “theatre mode” because, well, it doesn’t exist out in the real world just yet. But according to a new report, that might be changing sooner rather than later, as Apple’s latest update is said to include this mysterious function. What is it, exactly? What does it do? Is this good news or bad news? Is the sanctity of the theatrical experience facing a new, insidious threat? Whatever it is, we’ll probably find out on January 10, when the iOS 10.3 beta rolls out to iPhone users.

Ok - so the new iPhone 5 is here and after all the hoopla and "whoohoos" are done, we finally get a chance to really take a look at the differences between the old and the new.

Like millions of iPhone users I'm all fired up about the new iPhone 5.  But what's really got me charged up is the new charger chord for the latest offering from Apple - The Lightning.  This sleeker, slimmer, charger chord is better than the old charging dock - but it could cost me extra to hold on to my old iPhone accessories.

Apple has done it again.  The innovative company is "reinventing the wheel", so to speak, by making textbooks more interesting and user-friendly.  And its starting with textbooks.

Steve Jobs is stepping down as chief executive at Apple, the company said on Wednesday. Jobs will remain at the company as chairman, but he and his iconic black turtleneck will be replaced by former Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook.
