Abandoned places

It's never a good thing when a building burns down. The best case scenario is no people are hurt as stuff can always be replaced. However, one Midwest building burnt down and the "stuff" was very unique including a limousine and a Lamborghini kit car.

Exploring abandoned places is very popular these days and I've shared many with you. However, this is the first time I can show you what was found inside one of these decaying structures with news that it's about to be reborn. That is the case for a now-empty Pillsbury factory in Springfield, Illinois.

Missouri has some great waterparks, and I am sure many of you have visited them a time or two. This waterpark in Joplin, Missouri looks like it used to be a fun place to swim, now it just rots away.

When you're hiking through the woods, you don't expect to find a train there. But, that's exactly what happened in northern Illinois recently and I've learned this locomotive is almost 100 years old.

When it opened in the 1990's, it was an exciting place to see up-and-coming racers in Missouri. But, since it closed more than 18 years ago, there's practically nothing left of this speedway.

Someone could make a fortune restoring what was found in this abandoned Illinois home. Dozens of classic and in some cases rare arcade games were left behind in ruin.

Nazareth Speedway was once a thriving and busy NASCAR track that held 45,000 NASCAR fans. Now, 16 years after the track closed it sits with only the history of what it once was.
