A health incident in Lawrence Township, IN has sent 16 students to the hospital after mistakenly being injected by insulin.

This time of year is known for Flu shots, annual vaccinations, or other check up related injections. At Lawrence Township High School, the students were supposed to receive a TB test. The test includes a small injection that raises the skin and you monitor it over a course of a few days (at least that's what I remember). After 16 students were injected by Community Health Network medical personel, the mistake had been discovered and they took all 16 students to the hospital.

According to WTHR, "When the error was discovered, the students involved were taken to area hospitals for observation. Their parents have been notified. The MSD of Lawrence Township is working with Community Health Network to determine how this happened."
