Sirius XM To Raise Subscription Fees
If you love satellite radio with all your heart, you're about to get heartburn.
Sirius XM prepares for a price hike.
With just two months to go before the FCC lifts a ban on Sirius XM subscription increases first imposed when the two companies merged in 2008, the satcaster says it isn’t anticipating any subscriber fallout. The cost of a basic satellite radio subscription will rise by 12%, from $12.95 to $14.49 in January.
NewsTalk 1280 WGBF won't be increasing our prices again this year, of course, because we don't charge you to listen. We're FREE!
