Red Cross in Need of Spanish Speaking Volunteers for Hurricane Relief
The American Red Cross of Southwestern Indiana is need of volunteers who speak fluent Spanish to help families affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma begin the process of putting their lives back together.
Both Texas and Florida boast a large Hispanic population making the need for those who understand the language vitally important in moving the relief effort forward as efficiently as possible.
If you or someone you know would like to help, contact the American Red Cross at 812-471-7200. Volunteer trips to Florida and Texas last two weeks.
Monetary donations to the relief effort are also still being accepted through the Red Cross website.
