Lane Restrictions on Northbound Twin Bridge in Effect This Weekend

If your weekend plans include a trip across the northbound side of the Twin Bridges connecting Evansville to Henderson, give yourself a little extra time to get where you need to be as crews work to complete a project on Saturday and Sunday.

According to 44 News, the restrictions are expected to be in place from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. both days as crews apply a "high-traction coating" to the curve off the north end of the bridge just before the entrance to Ellis Park.

The coating is designed to help prevent accidents in wet weather.
