Lane Restrictions Coming to Weinbach Avenue for Water Main Repair

Drivers who travel Weinbach Avenue to get where they need to go everyday are going to need to give themselves a little extra time to get where they're headed, or find a totally different route for a while as crews begin work on installing a new water main from the Lloyd Expressway to Washington Avenue.

Eyewitness News reported the upcoming lane restrictions Wednesday morning on Twitter:

The work is part of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility's Renew Evansville Project, billed as "the largest capital improvement project in Evansville’s history," and will likely have the biggest impact on University of Evansville students and faculty considering the campus takes up a good chunk of Weinbach Avenue right off the Lloyd Expressway.
