Indiana’s Longest-Running County Fair

Did you know that the Gibson County Fair is the longest-running county fair in Indiana? Did you know it dates back to 1852? Have you ever been to the Gibson County Fair? If the answer is no, then the next logical question is WHY NOT?!

Clearly, the Gibson County Fair is doing something right – giving guests plenty of reasons to keep coming back over the decades. The 2026 Gibson County Fair, which is the 170th, is scheduled for July 4-11 in Princeton, Indiana.

What to Expect at the 2026 Gibson County Fair

Visitors to the fair will once again be able to enjoy motocross, a rodeo, live music, tractor pulls, and a demolition derby - not to mention all of the animals and all of that yummy food. Keep reading to see details about each night of the fair, along with times and ticket prices.

2026 Gibson County Fair Main Attraction Schedule

  • Sunday, July 5th at 7pm: Pro Pulling League Truck and Tractor Pull
    • Big Boys with Big Toys, Southern Indiana Farm Stock and Farmers Pull.
  • Monday, July 6th at 7pm: Monster Trucks
    • BIGFOOT is celebrating 50 years with some of his friends for a night of high-flying excitement. FREE Pit Party from 5pm-6pm.
  • Tuesday, July 7th: 2 for 1 Tuesday – buy one gate admission, get a second one FREE!
    • Scrapper Racing – Race'em & Reck'em at 7pm
  • Wednesday, July 8th at 7pm: Sanctioned Rodeo, D&D Rodeo
    • Family-oriented and Western-themed entertainment.
  • Thursday, July 9th at 7pm: Summer Sizzler Motocross
    • Gates Open 3:00 PM
    • Practice 4:30 PM
    • Heats 5:30 PM
    • Mains 7:30 PM
  • Friday, July 10th at 8pm: Sully's Friday Night Concert

The fair takes place at the Gibson County Fairgrounds, located at 709 North Embree Street, in Princeton, IN.

2026 Gibson County Fair Admission and Ride Tickets

  • Admission is FREE until 1pm each day, plus kids 9 and under are always FREE! After 1pm it’s $8 each – which includes free parking, free grandstands, and shuttle bus ride.
  • A season pass is $35 – which includes one pass for each day of the fair and the Miss Gibson County Fair Pageant.
  • Ride tickets are $1.50 each. Rides require 2 to 4 tickets, depending on the ride.
  • Ride armbands are $25 each. Armbands are good from 5:00 PM till Closing on day they were purchased.
