Best work day ever. Lol! I say that a lot around here, but it's not every day that my favorite hobby collides with my job. Antique shopping and thrifting are in my blood. Walking into a vintage shop feels like visiting my grandma right down to the smell. If you know, you know.

West KY Vintage & Antique Market

Everyone who treasure hunts has that ongoing list of things they would love to find. Maybe for nostalgic or decor trend reasons. Maybe you have a collection you love to add to, or your fashion taste runs retro. Whatever you like to look for, chances are you can find it at the West KY Vintage & Antique Market.

I LOVE anything weird or whimsical (I collect porcelain animals wearing hats, lol), pop culture memorabilia, antique junk that can be repurposed into something new, vintage t-shirts, clothes, accessories, paintings and pictures, and so, so much more. My favorite Disney princess was Ariel, not just because she was the only redhead at the time. It was because she had a secret grotto where she collected her knick-knacks! An icon!

Right out of the gate! Is this the greatest invention to ever exist? Maybe!

Opryland Pitcher

I always look for Opryland memorabilia for my dear friend, Chad. I told him I would only give him these rare items if I could have them back in his will. Lol! Who else thinks closing this place was the worst mistake in human history?

Vintage "Sci-Fi" Print

I thought this looked a little "Sci-Fi" and love the colors! I may "Remix" this with my own artistic twist.

Complete with her guitar and hat! So cute! And perfect for my "porcelain animals wearing hats" collection, I accidentally started.

Brass Beetle

Once again, I collect brass/bronze, but not your typical birds or candlesticks. I want that weird stuff. The ducks holding umbrellas, the dolphins, the beetles!

Feathered Headband

I have NO idea where I will wear this headband, but it was too beautiful to leave behind! I may just put it on my vanity and display it.

A Classic Painting Handbag Style

Once again, I think I'm gonna add my own artistic spin to this one. What do you think the caption of this tableau is?

Vintage Frog Follies Shirt

It feels wrong to say a shirt from 2003 is vintage but...well...The graphics on this are so fun! The back has an image too.

This Quirky Henderson 'Hidden Gem' is a Vintage Lover's Dream

I love treasure hunting! One of my favorite local shops to visit is Corkscrew Curiosities in Henderson. In an old house at 920 2nd St. is the most adorable little quirky haven of vintage treasures, books old and new, trinkets, stickers, fidgets, clothes, jewelry, local art, and even some wild oddities. Here's just a taste of this unique must-visit spot.
