Area Veterans Rally Together to Support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude has long supported America's heroes, and now local veterans are stepping up to give back and support their lifesaving mission. This group is a tight-knit brotherhood and sisterhood that embodies the spirit of service and community. Today, they carry on that mission by supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, helping to ensure its critical work continues.

American Legion Post 9 Makes $5,000 Donation to St. Jude

Amazing veterans from James L. Yates American Legion Post 9 stopped by the WBKR Window World St. Jude Radiothon with a generous $5,000 donation. Their gift will directly support children and families at St. Jude. Post 9 is always giving back to the community, and we’re incredibly grateful for their continued support.

V.E.T. Steps Up to Support St. Jude

When the team from V.E.T. learned about the St. Jude Radiothon years ago, they didn’t hesitate to get involved. They stopped by to show their support and share their mission. Having faced challenges of their own, they understand what many are going through. V.E.T. serves local veterans, active-duty military members, and their families by addressing loneliness, depression and strengthening resiliency. Their commitment to helping others mirrors the care St. Jude provides every family it serves, and we’re grateful for their service and sacrifice. And, they donated $500 to the mission!
