If your algorithm already knows you’re a sucker for rescue stories, welcome, you’re in the right place. Over the years, I’ve found myself loyally following accounts that celebrate second chances, big personalities, healing journeys, and, of course, plenty of zoomies. These pages make me laugh after long workdays, cry over dogs I’ve never met, and believe wholeheartedly in the power of rescue. If you love a whole lot of wagging tails, these are the accounts you’ll want in your daily scroll!

The Asher House: Where Second Chances Run Wild

If you’ve been anywhere near “dog-centric” social media, chances are you’ve come across Lee and the beautiful chaos that is The Asher House. I’ve followed this rescue for years, and watching it grow has been nothing short of inspiring. What keeps me hooked is Lee’s heart for adopting animals of all ages and abilities, especially the ones often overlooked. Matilda, with her neurological challenges, is pure joy in motion. She runs and plays like nothing can slow her down, and honestly? She’s a daily reminder that resilience comes in fur-covered form despite her mobility issues. Then there’s Tommy, the lovable English Bulldog whose favorite red ball is both his prized possession and partner-in-mischief. And sweet Poppy, my soft spot (as a former basset hound kid), who has overcome a traumatic past to become one of the gentlest souls in the house. If you’re an animal lover who believes every dog deserves their moment to thrive, this account will absolutely own a piece of your heart. The Asher House has a piece of mine!

Miss Peaches & Petey: Social Media Stars with Paws

I can’t get enough of Miss Peaches! She’s one of those accounts that makes you smile no matter what. Watching her learn to enjoy toys, eat treats, and even tackle stairs after her rough start is just the best. Plus, by following her, you support something bigger: her merch has raised hundreds of thousands for shelters, and she’s changing the way people see pit bulls. She's goofy, sweet, and totally loveable. Now with her new little brother, Petey the Beagle, there’s double the mischief and cuddles. Honestly, her feed is pure feel-good gold, and if you love rescue stories, she’s a must-follow. And, after you follow, you’ll wish Dave would adopt you, too!

K9 Konvoy: The School Bus I’d Actually Wake Up Early For

If you had told me a doggy daycare bus would become part of my daily routine, I wouldn’t have believed you, and yet, here we are. K9 Konvoy (based in Wisconsin and run by the amazing Hope Mehlberg) is hands-down my end-of-workday serotonin boost. A paw-print-painted school bus picks up over 20 dogs and takes them to a private dog park for playtime.

The highlight? Snack time. It didn’t take long before I knew all the dogs’ names and naturally picked favorites (as one does). Macaroni owns my heart. He sits in the same seat at the back of the bus, gently taking his snack, with his little leg hanging off the seat like he pays rent back there. And when he dressed as cheese for Halloween? Iconic. Then there’s Lucy Lou, who can only have chicken for her snack and always looks absolutely wiped out after playtime, barely keeping her eyes open. She’s clearly the popular girl on the bus, adored by the other pups. And sweet Hank! He doesn’t ride every day, but when he does, I smile instantly.

Most of these dogs are rescues, which makes it even sweeter watching them live their best lives. If you need a guaranteed mood-lifter in your feed, K9 Konvoy is it. I check in every single day, and it never fails to make my world a little brighter.

Winston the Miniature Dood: Sass, Spunk, and Spot-On Voiceovers

Winston the Miniature Dood might not be a rescue, but he’s definitely rescued my scrolling time more than once. This miniature doodle comes to life thanks to some absolutely impeccable voiceover work. His sass and spunk shine in every clip! I mean, calling the human “the maid” or “spare human” is pure genius, and the comic timing? It's why I come back for more!

Winston’s videos are a mix of hilarious storytimes, viral trends, and everyday antics from the perspective of a very opinionated pup. Add in his outfit game (always on point) and relatable “spoiled dog” skits, and you’ve got a feed that’s impossible not to watch. My only complaint? They don’t post more often! Winston’s account is a must-follow for anyone who loves clever, fluffy entertainment.

Kiki & Koko: Beagle Chaos in the Kitchen

I have a soft spot for beagles, and Kiki & Koko are the perfect reminder of why. High-energy, stubborn, and absolutely food-obsessed! These two have personalities that leap right off the screen. Their feed is full of the usual beagle antics, but my personal favorite has to be their ongoing “Cooking with Beagles” segment. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Chaos in the kitchen. Watching them try to “help” make delicious desserts is pure comedy gold with flour everywhere and zero respect for baking boundaries. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s one of the funniest things on the internet, and I find myself rewatching it just to catch every little hijink. Kiki & Koko aren’t just cute, they’re chaotic, hilarious, and impossible not to love!

Tucker & Todd Budzyn: Double the Golden Joy

I’ve been following this channel for years, and it’s impossible not to smile when Tucker Budzyn pops up on my feed. Then his son, Todd, joined the chaos, and now the shenanigans are at an all-time high. Golden Retrievers are already full of personality, but these two? Tenfold. Tucker, born in 2018 in my home state of Michigan, is a bona fide social media star with over 28 million followers worldwide across all social media platforms. Their videos are perfectly edited, often featuring hilarious voiceover-style text bubbles, and showcase everything from goofy antics to Todd’s puppy mischief. Even though they aren’t rescues, following Tucker and Todd feels like pure joy therapy! Wholesome, funny, and completely uplifting. Honestly, social media at its finest. Give these two a follow, and you’ll thank me when you’re grinning ear to ear.

Bundle of Bullies: From Belly Laughs to Healing Hearts

A few months ago, I stumbled across Bundle of Bullies with Raffie, the beloved American Bulldog better known as “Mr. One Toof”, and I fell instantly in love. Alongside his owner, Maren (who rescues and advocates for the breed), this account quickly became one of my favorites. Raffie’s sweet, mild-mannered spirit made every costume moment comedy gold. No matter what she dressed him in, he just went along with it unbothered. The whole page felt carefree, lighthearted, and full of that big, goofy bully love.

Then, in December, heartbreaking news shook the entire community. Raffie, Odin, and Pickle tragically passed away following an altercation at daycare, and it felt like we all lost dogs we somehow knew personally. I have never cried so much over pups I’ve never met. As if that wasn’t enough, her sweet Bean became ill and passed suddenly, not long after. The grief felt heavy, not just for Maren and her family, but for the millions of us who followed their journey daily.

But if there’s one thing rescue teaches us, it’s that love continues. Through unimaginable loss, Maren opened her heart again and welcomed Potato. Watching him begin to discover what the good life looks like, safety, comfort, and belonging, is both tender and hopeful. This account is no longer just carefree laughs (though there are still smiles). It’s real. It’s raw. It’s a reminder that rescue comes with incredible highs and heartbreaking lows, and that loving deeply is always worth it. I’m rooting for healing, for joy to return in full, and I’ll absolutely be following Potato’s journey every step of the way, along with Bundle of Bullies.

Henry “Wee Wheels”: The Ultimate Underdog Hero

If you haven’t met Henry Wee Wheels yet, you’re in for a treat. This toy poodle went from a life-threatening rescue in China to becoming a true inspiration in Northern Ireland. Paralyzed from a broken back, Henry zips around in his custom wheelchair with more energy, joy, and personality than most dogs I know. His Instagram and Facebook pages are full of his “voice,” sharing his underdog journey, daily adventures, and high-speed zoomies that will make you cheer out loud. Beyond the laughs and heart-melting antics, Henry is a certified therapy dog, visiting schools and nursing homes to teach empathy and resilience. Watching him live life to the fullest, even in a wheelchair, reminds us all how every animal deserves a second chance!

If you need a daily dose of heart and hilarity, Henry’s a must-follow.

The Dodo: Heartwarming Stories for Every Animal Lover

If you love animals, chances are you’re already following The Dodo, and for good reason. Their feed is packed with heartwarming stories of animals who’ve overcome tough starts to find loving homes. From unlikely friendships to jaw-dropping rescue transformations, the content is designed to make you smile, tear up, and maybe even adopt (or donate) in a single scroll. I promise it will bring joy and positivity to your feed. Beyond just cuteness, The Dodo empowers followers to take action for animal welfare, making it a must-follow for anyone who wants their social media to feel a little warmer and a lot more inspiring!

Peter the Pup: GameDay’s New MVP

Even if you bleed maize and blue like me, it’s hard not to love Peter, Ohio State analyst Kirk Herbstreit’s newest Golden Retriever. After losing his beloved Ben in 2024, Peter has stepped into some big paws, bringing joy and plenty of adorable moments to College GameDay and NFL trips. When Peter is on the set, he 100% steals the show. Whether you’re a football fan or just a dog lover, although he isn't a rescue, following Peter’s adventures is an easy win for your feed!

Beautiful tribute to Ben Herbsteit. I remember when this aired, and I cried like a baby.

Although no pup could replace Ben, Peter is a beautiful sight to see on the sidelines, in the booth, and on social media!

A Few More Paws You Can’t Miss

I’ve recently discovered a few more accounts that are too good not to mention.

Take Derick of King and Chilli the Pug, for example. Sometimes a little inappropriate, always hilarious. Derick’s voiceovers, combined with his father's comedic timing, are pure social media gold.

If you’re in the mood for pure cuteness, you have to check out Mr. MiloBug. This little pup lives the dream life! Gourmet meals, his own bedroom, and the full VIP treatment from his humans (who don’t have kids yet, so he gets all the spoiling). Watching Milo’s adventures is like peeking into a tiny, fluffy world of luxury and love, which I wish I were part of! MiloBug’s feed is the perfect escape into adorable, pampered pup bliss.
