Concert Announcement: Thomas Rhett Coming to Evansville

We've had some really exciting concert announcements recently. The Ford Center is the place to be for country music in 2026. Bailey Zimmerman, Hardy, Brooks & Dunn, Tucker Wetmore, Koe Wetzel, Parker McCollum...and more!

This morning, another exciting announcement for country music fans. Thomas Rhett will be rolling into Evansville later this year.

Of course, he just became a daddy for the fifth time! He and his wife, Lauren, recently welcomed a baby boy named Brave Elijah Akins. Luckily, he will have a while to spend with family before he heads out on select stops of Morgan Wallen's Still the Problem tour and Luke Combs' My Kinda Saturday Night Tour.

That'll get him good and warmed up before he takes the Ford Center stage on August 20th. I'm a huge fan of the two folks who will be coming along with him.

I am SUPER excited that Emily Ann Roberts, the 'Yeehaw Meemaw' herself, will be performing as well. IYKYK! Emily has gained that nickname because she has a lot of "Meemaw" type hobbies. Baking, canning, sewing, gardening, etc. She often crochets outfits to wear on stage.

Not only have people (myself included) fallen in love with her sweet personality and helpful tutorial videos online, but we are also huge fans of her incredible musical talent. She has a unique sound and magical stage presence. I know this is a major claim, but there is something about her that reminds me of another Tennessee blonde. (Dolly vibes anyone?)

Goosebumps! Highly recommend going down the rabbit hole if you aren't familiar with her yet. This is going to be a fantastic show! Tickets will go on sale next Friday, March 13th, 2026, at 10 AM Central. I have a feeling we will have a ticket giveaway in the future, so keep your eyes peeled!
