Everyone is going bonkers for Owensboro Burger Week, ourselves included! We have been previewing as many of the almost 60 burgers as we can. From sweet and spicy to cheesy and greasy, we are working our way through the epic list.

You can follow along on the WBKR Facebook page to see photos and videos of the different culinary creations we've devoured so far.  It's so fun to go out and try new things at our favorite places. What a creative and delicious way to bring the community together!

You can download your own Official Owensboro Burger Week Guide made by our friend Katy Tierney, AKA the Burger Queen. It has tips and tricks to make the most of your week along with descriptions of all of the burgers and a place where you can score your favorites.

Owensboro Burger Week Sweets

After all of those burgers, you know what would be really great? (Other than some Tums.) Dessert! Some local bakers have come up with tasty and adorable treats to make Owensboro Burger Week even sweeter. They are not official entries, so prices will vary, but here is what we know:

Doozie Doez

Hanna Bailey from Doozie Doez brought her Smore Berry Slider cupcakes to the studio. She is doing a limited drop of them at Crazy Me Gifts.

Becca Bakes

Becca Bakes is also serving up that "sesame seed bun" for your sweet tooth. This Whooped Up Burger looks next level. You can text 270-616-2253 to order a burger for pick up or stop in her shop on Frederica St. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at how Becca works her magic.

Bluegrass Bourbon Dessert Bar

Speaking of magic, Bluegrass Bourbon Dessert Bar is serving up the cutest cookie fries in multiple flavors and dipping sauces. They are also donating a portion of the sales to the Dannheiser Fund For Kids. Our friend Tyler will be open 11 am to 11 pm all burger week long, closed on Sunday.

Cookies by Cammie

Cookies by Cammie had a presale for burger cookie sets, but if you missed out and really want some, you can send her a message on Facebook. I bet you can sweet-talk her. (pun totally intended!) Each topping is its own cookie, how cute!

The Sweet Spot

The Sweet Spot is set up at Kim's Diner with Burgie cookies! How cute is that? I know a "Birgy" who will be VERY excited for this chocolate ship cookie sandwich. (Get it, Barb!) She also has all kinds of other goodies like Baby Burger Pops, Burger Brownies, and more.

Pinky's Desserts

My friend Sheila Crowe from Pinky's makes sweets that are to die for! This week, she has an adorable burger-inspired creation along with some of her other amazing treats. She's known for her strawberry crunch, candied grapes, pudding cups, cheesecakes, and it is all up for grabs this week!

Madeline's Specialty Sweets

And last but not least, Madeline's Specialty Sweets. This Chocolate Covered Strawberry Dessert “BURGER” has chocolate cream cheese icing pressed between two strawberry cookies. It is made with real strawberries and garnished with fresh sliced strawberries. And you will never know it's gluten-free!

If you and your burger-tasting crew need "a little something sweet," or a break from burgers, these are some delicious options. Happy SWEET Owensboro Burger Week!
