Adorable Alert! Dare You Not to Fall in Love With This Sleepy Baby
I'm always on the lookout for sweet and heartwarming stories to share with you. This may be the cutest darn thing I have ever seen. Katie Van Slyke is a farmer in Tennessee. She lives across the road from the farm she grew up on and documents her animal adventures with the most adorable videos.
Katie shares on her website, "Along with the mini farm, I spend much of my life caring for my Quarter horses who I both show on the AQHA circuit and breed! From breeding, to birthing, raising and weaning, I love every minute of it! Even though we have to say goodbye to many of the babies, we keep up with them when we can and love to see the joy they bring to their new farm families!"
I can imagine it is bittersweet to see the babies find new homes. Although it is part of the game, if you have a heart for furry friends, you are going to bond with them while caring for them. I totally get it. Lord, I'm already attached to one of the newest arrivals in the barn, and I don't even actually know this foal in real life.

His name is Glenn, and his mama is a pony named Coco. (I'm guessing that's a nod to Mean Girls? Love!) Katie did her nightly rounds, and when she stopped in to say goodnight to them, the newborn "somehow" ended up asleep in her lap. He was TIRED. We're talking "TARRED" as my Papaw used to say. Mouth open, head flopped over, totally passed out.
Hysterical! His teeth! His little hooves tucked up and all snuggly. It looks like Miss Katie has been working on spoiling him reallllll good. Here is a video from when he was a little smaller.
How could you not spoil him when he's sooooooo cute? It looks like it has definitely become part of a self-care routine for both of them. Glenn tuckers himself out by running around with the zoomies and "buckies and rompies" all day.
YOU GO, GLENN COCO! (IYKYK) He could be a mini barrel racer! Haha! I sure hope this spunky little fella sticks around Running Springs. Although he won't always be small enough to rock in a rocking chair, unless they get really creative! Give Katie a follow for more Glenn snuggles and fun farm stories.
