Meet the Finalists for Owensboro’s Friday Night Fight Talent Contest

If you love live music and you're a fan of shows like American Idol, The Voice and America's Got Talent, you'll definitely want to join us in downtown Owensboro at Friday After 5 on Friday, August 4th. That's when we're having the finale of WBKR's 2023 Friday Night Fight talent contest sponsored by the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center. The fun gets underway at 6pm on the Ruoff Party Stage on the pier behind the Owensboro Convention Center. We have eight acts who will take the stage and battle for our grand prize- $1500 and the right to headline the Ruoff Stage at the season finale of Friday After 5 and headline a stage at Dock Trot in September in Muhlenberg County!

At the finale, our eight finalists will go head-to-head in a series of 'knockout' rounds. We'll have the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals all in the same night on the same stage.  And here's a look at the eight acts competing for the grand prize and glory!

What makes the Friday Night Fight finale even more fun is that we have a panel of celebrity judges who give live feedback after each performance and choose the winner of each round. It's incredibly exciting and nerve-racking. Here's a look at the five judges who'll be ultimately crowning our champion.
