Fittingly, the theme is "County Traditions & Country Celebrations." If you've been before, you know that you'll enjoy the most delicious food you've ever put in your mouth. Pro tip: Don't underestimate a simple ear of corn from the KY Proud tent. You'll also get to enjoy amazing entertainment, shopping, and so much more.

My favorite part is ALWAYS walking through the exhibition halls to see all of the produce, handcrafted quilts, and adorable livestock. Who will have the largest pumpkin this year? Or the best homemade pie? It could be you!

Calling All Farmers, Bakers, and Candlestick Makers

Have you ever thought about showcasing something at the Kentucky State Fair? Whether you are a farmer, a baker, or a candlestick maker, you can enter to win that blue ribbon. They have an assortment of divisions in livestock and general entries listed here on the website. If you have a hobby or special project you are working on, take a look. You may be surprised to find a category to participate in.

First Time Exhibitors Hot Tips

Organizers have also shared advice for newbies. So even if you have never submitted an entry, you are welcome to join the fun. Maybe you've always thought about it, but never followed through, so take this as a sign that 2026 is your year. The premium book has everything you need to know and then some!
