No bachelorette party is complete without an night out on the town. This past weekend, I was in Chattanooga at my friend Brooklyn's weekend of celebration. Saturday night, after a delicious dinner, we asked our lovely server, Paris, where we should go to continue our fun for the evening.

Somehow, this gal read our minds. We were all dressed up after a busy day of trekking Rock City and whooping it up on the Pedal Tavern around town. I think we all wanted a unique spot with incredible vibes to just hang and enjoy some fancy cocktails.

Unique Spot With Incredible Vibes

Paris told us about a speakeasy on Cherry Street called Unknown Caller where you have to enter a funky door to an even funkier corridor, dial a number on a phone that hangs on the wall and see if they will let you in.

@unknowncallerbar UNKNOWN + Espresso Martini tower + ‍♂️ ur besties = the best Friday night ya can have! Open 6pm til 2am Fridays & Saturdays✨✨✨ #chattanooga ♬ Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter - Tortured Poets

Will They Let You In?

When we opened the door to the little entryway covered in colorful pop art wallpaper, we saw the phone hanging on the wall. There was a little note with the code which our fearless leader and party gal, Heather, entered into the phone. A small peephole opened on the door like something from Wizard of Oz, and we told the host how many people were in our group. They told us we couldn't come in!

10/10 Before We Even Got In

I'm pretty sure entry is based on whether they have an available table, but the fact that they make it feel exclusive just adds to the element of mystery and fun. We waited in line on the sidewalk and a door cutie came around with water and snacks which was so nice! We hadn't been out for long, but I bet if you were out making the rounds, that would come in handy after a few drinks.

Try, Try Again

After about 5-10 minutes, we tried the phone again and were welcomed inside to a gorgeous velvet booth set with waters and candles. A chill Lo-fi jazz R&B playlist was a great compliment to the moody lighting with pops of neon, exposed brick, and a bar with shelves so high, they needed a rolling ladder to reach the top.

Bubbles for the Bachelorette

The babe who took care of us was a total blast. Bringing us drinks, games, and a twinkie with a candle in it for Brooklyn since we were celebrating her wedding. Her personality wasn't the only thing that was bubbly. She literally brought out a big bubble blower and made a whole to-do so Brooklyn would feel special.

U N K N O W N Cocktails

We all tried different specials from their creative menu. Lots of different flavors, gorgeous garnishes and beautiful vintage glassware. Here is the Lady Marmalade. So pretty!

They even serve mocktails for folks who don't drink alcohol. I asked the bartender to surprise me with a bourbon bev that was zesty with citrus. The cocktails were all amazing, but I have regrets that we didn't get the Espresso Martini tower. Maybe next time!

We had a perfect evening and it was just the right way to close a wonderful weekend of friends and fun. I highly recommend you visit the next time you're in Chattanooga! If you can get in...

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
