Tristate Theatre Hosting 2024 Family Film Festival This Summer

Showplace Cinemas has announced it will be hosting a Family Film Festival this summer, and you're invited!

I have so many wonderful memories of taking my daughter to the movies when she was little. It was always so much fun but taking the kids to the movies can get pretty expensive.

Summer Family Movies for $1.50 a Ticket

Fortunately, now that the kids are out of school, Showplace Cinemas is giving us an affordable movie option this summer with its Family Film Festival. During the months of June and July, you can take the family to the movies for just $1.50 per ticket at Showplace Cinemas locations in Indiana, Kentucky, & Illinois.

What About Popcorn and a Drink?

In addition to the ultra low ticket price offered for this event, movie goers can also take advantage of the special Film Festival Kids Tray that includes a popcorn and 12 ounce drink for only $3.50.

What Days & Locations Does Showplace Family Film Festival Take Place?

Now, you can't just go any day or time to get this deal. The $1.50 ticket price is only offered as part of the Family Film Festival with showings at 9:30 am. The Family Film Festival will take place over an 8-week span beginning June 4, 2024, with showings on the following days and locations:

• Tuesdays: Showplace Newburgh, Henderson, & Princeton
• Wednesdays: Showplace East in Evansville, and Showplace Connersville
• Thursday: Showplace North in Evansville, Showplace Harrisburg & Jasper

June 11 - 13, 2024: Sonic the Hedgehog 2

June 18 - 20, 2024: Trolls Band Together

June 25 - 27, 2024: Migration

July 9 - 11, 2024: The Super Mario Brothers Movie

July 16 - 18, 2024: Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken

July 23 - 25, 2024: TMNT: Mutant Mayhem
