While the River City Pride Parade and Festival may be the biggest Pride Month celebration in Evansville, they're far from the only events happening this June.

River City Pride has announced a full calendar of activities throughout the month, offering opportunities for community members and allies to connect through music, sports, entertainment, social events, and more.

From drag wrestling and live music to pickleball and baseball, there's something happening nearly every week of Pride Month.

Pride & Glory Brings Wrestling To Pride Weekend

One of the most unique additions to this year's lineup is Pride & Glory Drag Wrestling.

River City Pride is partnering with World Wrestling Alliance and Industry Bar to host what organizers describe as Evansville's first Pride wrestling event. The free, all-ages outdoor event will take place Sunday, June 7, and will feature wrestling matches, drag wrestling performances, live bands, food trucks, and appearances by LGBTQ+ wrestling stars Ace Perry and Jai Vidal.

The event takes place at Industry Bar, located at 101 SE First Street.

Music And Community Take Center Stage

On Friday, June 12, River City Pride will host Pride Music Night and Resource Fair at the corner of Second Street and Adams Avenue.

The evening will feature live performances from Best Girl of Jeffersonville, Evansville's own Smthn Smthn Geese, and Valentina.

In addition to live music, attendees can connect with local organizations and businesses through a Resource Fair and Business Expo presented in partnership with the River City Pride Business Alliance.

Pride Pickleball Welcomes Players Of All Skill Levels

If your idea of a good time involves a paddle instead of a concert stage, Pride Pickleball may be the perfect fit.

The event takes place Sunday, June 14, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Wesselman Park.

Organizers say the event is designed for everyone, whether you've played pickleball for years or have never stepped onto a court before. The afternoon will focus on community, connection, and friendly competition in a welcoming environment.

The Official Pride Bar Crawl Returns

Adults looking for a night out can take part in the Official Pride Bar Crawl on June 20.

The ticketed event will feature a kickoff party, drag performances, themed drink specials, food deals, participating bars throughout Evansville, and a finale drag show.

Organizers describe the event as a citywide celebration that encourages participants to embrace colorful outfits, meet new people, and celebrate Pride Month together.

Pride Night At Historic Bosse Field

The month wraps up with Pride Night at the Evansville Otters on June 24.

The event takes place at historic Bosse Field and combines America's favorite pastime with a celebration of Pride Month and community inclusion.

A Month Full Of Opportunities To Celebrate

While the Pride Parade and Festival remain the centerpiece of the month's festivities, River City Pride's expanded calendar offers additional opportunities for residents to celebrate, connect, and build community throughout June.

Whether you're interested in live music, sports, family-friendly activities, nightlife, or professional wrestling, Pride Month in Evansville offers a little something for everyone. See the full calendar and learn more by visiting RiverCityPrideIndiana.org.
