U.S. News looked at a number of factors to determine a metro areas quality of life including crime rates and the quality of the education system, as well as other factors like air quality and the quality and availability of healthcare. Kentucky Metro Ranks 23rd Best to Live for Quality of Life
When it comes to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, one metro area outperformed the rest. Lexington-Fayette ranked #23 in Best Places to Live for Quality of Life, according to U.S. News. They say the city's blend of "influences from the South and Midwest" give a unique cultural identity.
