Bringing Together Volunteers and Community Members

The Evansville Department of Parks and Recreation developed the Parks Squad as a way to bring together volunteers and community members to help improve our city's parks.

The Evansville Department of Parks and Recreation made the decision in 2024 to prioritize its presence in area parks and neighborhoods after hearing residents' concerns about our community's parks.
