Concerns Over Community Parks Sparked the Idea
The Evansville Department of Parks and Recreation made the decision in 2024 to prioritize its presence in area parks and neighborhoods after hearing residents' concerns about our community's parks.

Parks Squad Was Born
The idea for the Parks Squad was born from an effort to meet the needs of the community while providing volunteer opportunities for individuals to get involved.
