Evansville Comedy Event Benefits Animal Rescues
Get ready for a night of laughs, live music, and giving back.
Daisy’s New Beginnings is bringing back its comedy fundraiser in 2026, and this year’s event promises big entertainment for an even bigger cause.
All proceeds benefit Daisy’s New Beginnings, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps local animal rescues cover emergency and extreme medical cases for dogs in need.
A Night Of Comedy For A Cause
The 2026 event takes place Saturday, March 14th, at Pat Coslett’s Simplicity Furniture located on the corner of Vogel and Green River Road in Evansville.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with live music from Ben and Caroline to kick off the evening at 6 p.m. A food truck will begin serving at 5:30 p.m., and Primetime Newburgh will be running the bar.
The comedy show begins at 8 p.m.
Headlining the evening is David Scott, also known as Mr. Showtime. Known for his high-energy performances, social media following, and Guinness World Record recognition, Mr. Showtime returns to bring the laughs following an opening act.
The event is sponsored by Lux Motors, with entertainment sponsored by Christi Martin ERA.
How Daisy’s New Beginnings Helps Local Rescues
Daisy’s New Beginnings works directly with area rescues to provide funding for dogs facing serious medical challenges.
Many of these animals are considered extreme cases that often require surgeries, emergency procedures, or long-term medical care before they can become eligible for adoption.
The organization has previously supported rescues, including It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue, PAAWS No-Kill Animal Rescue, New Hope Animal Rescue, Newlife Rescue & Adoption, and the Humane Society of Henderson County, Kentucky.
By attending this event, you are directly helping local dogs get a second chance.

The event will be held at Pat Coslett’s Simplicity Furniture on North Green River Road in Evansville on Saturday, March 14th.
