One study has found each state's favorite fast food restaurant, and you won't guess what Indiana's was.

Indiana has a lot of great restaurants that have been open for years. These restaurants have become staples in that area, and people must go whenever they are in town. They are restaurants that can even become bucket-list places to dine at. Whether it be comfort food, burgers, fried chicken, seafood, Italian, Mexican, steakhouses, or any other type of restaurant, there are certain places that stand out among the rest. Then you have your go-to fast food restaurants. As you know, there are so many to choose from here in Indiana. Burgers, tacos, pizza, and other sandwiches at these fast food chains in the state are the perfect meal when you're in a rush.

That being said, not all fast-food chains are created equal, right? Some are definitely better than others, and there are quite a few that you downright avoid. Likewise, there are those chains where you know you are always going to get quality food and service any time you go there. That brings us to the point of this article. FinanceBuzz recently discovered each state's favorite fast food restaurant. The website collected popularity data using metrics like search volume and number of restaurant locations for nearly 70 major fast-food chains throughout the country.

Not what you might have expected, right? Arby's has 177 restaurants throughout the Hoosier State. While beef and cheddar with a side of curly fries are delicious, I don't think they are at the top of most Hoosiers' minds. Even more surprising, McDonald's, America's most popular fast food chain, was absent from the list from FinanceBuzz. You can take a look at which restaurant is the favorite from each state below:
