All Makes and Models Available!

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them in all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats who have been around awhile. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week with the VHS, in hopes of helping them find their forever homes. This week is a sweet retriever named Winnie.

Meet Winnie

Winnie is a 5-year-old retriever, who loves to play, is very smart, and knows a few tricks, but she also loves to cuddle up on the couch after a long day of playing.

Meet Winnie! She’s prepared to make a deal with you–Adopt her and she’ll be your best friend for life. She’ll even shake on it! With the right amount of treats, she’ll throw in some “downs” and “fetches.” This very sweet, very smart five-year-old retriever mix is already crate trained and will fit right in with an active family who loves to play as much as they do snuggle.
