The VHS has issued an urgent need for animals to foster. Please find out more, and check out our Vanderburgh Humane Society Pet of the Week.

The Vanderburgh County Humane Society is in a critical situation. They need fosters, urgently. This week, the VHS has taken in 18 new dogs into their care. However, they are officially out of space at the shelter. That's where fosters come into play. You can become a foster for one (or more) of these dogs by providing them with a safe and loving temporary home. The VHS will provide you with all of the supplies that you'll need, including food and medical care. All you'll need to do is spoil those dogs!

You can find out how you can become a foster in this urgent time of need in the post below.

While becoming a foster to an animal is a great thing, you can also adopt and provide an animal with a permanent home. The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! An animal like our VHS Pet of the week!
