There are a lot of things to see in do in Kentucky, and out of all of them one place was named the most beautiful place to see.

There are so many noteworthy attractions that can be found in Kentucky. Whether it be museums, theme parks, sports venues, historical locations, certain towns, or being out on a beautiful lake, Kentucky has a lot to offer residents and guests alike. We all have our favorite attractions to visit in the state. In the past, we have written articles about tourist attractions in Kentucky. Recently, we covered the largest sunflower maze in Kentucky, the largest fried chicken festival in the world, and the highest-rated free things to do in Kentucky, to name a few. However, if you want to visit somewhere that will simply take your breath away by its sheer beauty, one website says that there's one place that you need to add to your bucket list.

There are really quite a few beautiful places to visit in Kentucky. Churchill Downs, Land Between the Lakes, the Kentucky Castle, and Mammoth Cave are some of the first that come to mind. Recently, CN Traveler made it their mission to find the most beautiful place to visit in each state. When it comes to Kentucky, what do you think they chose?

The Most Beautiful Place in Kentucky is...

According to CN Traveler, the most beautiful place in Kentucky is Cumberland Falls.

Here's what they had to say about Kentucky's most beautiful place:

Measuring 68 feet tall and 125 feet wide, this Kentucky site has rightfully earned the nickname “the Niagara of the South.” The falls are located within Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, which has plenty of opportunities for hiking, camping, horseback riding, birdwatching, and whitewater rafting. If you time your visit right, you might be able to catch sight of the elusive “moonbow,” a rainbow-like phenomenon caused when moonlight gets refracted in the mist of the falls.

I have spent a lot of time in many areas in Kentucky, but Cumberland Falls is a place that I have yet to visit. I've heard nothing but great things about this area, and to be honest, everything that I have seen about it screams "beautiful".

What do you think? Is this really Kentucky's most beautiful place? If not Cumberland Falls, then what is?
