There are a lot of unique places that you can stay at when traveling through the state of Kentucky. Each of these places have something a little different to offer visitors. Many of these places can be found on Airbnb. One of those Kentucky Airbnbs is one that isn't for the faint of heart. Honestly, I have never seen an Airbnb quite like this before. Why is it so unique? Because you will be staying in a treehouse that is literally hanging off of a cliff!
The Most Extreme Airbnb in Kentucky?
Located in Red River Gorge, Kentucky, you will find an Airbnb that only the brave will want to stay at. Cliff Dweller is an extreme and athletic place to spend the night. As previously mentioned, this Airbnb is literally hanging off of a cliff. If you're not a fan of heights, this might not be for you. However, if you're feeling a little adventurous, you're going to want to check this out. According to the Airbnb listing,
When you arrive at the parking area, your jaw will slowly unhinge as you stare up at the massive floating staircase that takes you to the top of the mountain. This will likely be the largest floating staircase you will ever witness. For your future bragging rights, here is the official step count: 177 steps to get to the kitchen, 45 steps to get to the bedroom, and 11 steps to get to the roof deck! Please note, we strongly recommend packing in back packs vs suitcases, and bags instead of a cooler (there is a fridge inside). Simply put, the view from your bed will not be forgotten. You may choose to stay on the cliff your entire trip.
