This Indiana Restaurant Serves the Best Chili in the State
It's that time of year where you will want a nice bowl of chili. Apparently, this Indiana restaurant has the best in the Hoosier State.
Indiana has a lot of great restaurants that have been open for years. These restaurants have become staples in that area, and people must go whenever they are in town. They are restaurants that can even become bucket-list places to dine at. Whether it be comfort food, burgers, fried chicken, seafood, Italian, Mexican, steakhouses, or any other type of restaurant, there are certain places that stand out among the rest. As the weather begins to feel more fall-like, many people in Indiana will want to enjoy a nice hot bowl of chili. Granted, you could easily make a delicious pot of chili at home, but if you are going out to eat, where can you go in Indiana to get the finest bowl of chili the state has to offer?
The food website, Love Food, recently found the best bowl of chili in each state. They did so based on genuine user reviews, awards and accolades, and the first-hand experience of their team. I have to admit that when it comes to what they selected for Indiana, it is my absolute favorite way to eat chili.

According to Love Food, the best chili in Indiana can be found in Indianapolis at Nick's Chili Parlor. The chili itself that they selected is their “Not Yet World Famous” 5-Way Chili, which happens to be my favorite way to eat chili. Yes, I am one of those who believe that noodles in chili is the way to go.
Here's what Love Food said about Nick's Chili Parlor:
Billing itself as 'Indy's original chili parlor,' Nick's opened back in 1974 – and it's easily stood the test of time. Chili is still the menu mainstay, and the joint's recipe is a closely guarded secret. It's named '5-way' for the five elements that make up the perfect bowl: fresh spaghetti, sharp Cheddar, onions, red beans, and, of course, steaming spoonfuls of beef chili.
I don't know about you, but this sounds delicious! The next time I am in Indy, I will definitely hit this up. Have you been to Nick's before and do you think it's worthy of being named the best chili in Indiana?
