You have the chance to help solve a murder on a train with a murder mystery excursion in Nashville.

I'm a big fan of murder mysteries. I love trying to figure out who is responsible for the murder(s). There's one movie in particular that I love watching called "Murder on the Orient Express." It's a murder mystery that takes place on a train. This movie is a classic "Who Done It" with a lot of twists and turns along the way.

I often wonder, while watching the movie, how I would fare in a situation like this. Would I be able to observe everyone on the train to try to find any suspicious activity? Furthermore, would I be able to solve the murder in time before everyone leaves the train? Well, I'm going to have my chance to find out, and so will you with a unique train ride in Nashville, Tennessee this summer.

Murder Mystery Excursion Train

Nashville, Tennessee is home to the Tennessee Central Railway Museum. They host several different excursions throughout the year. One of those excursions includes a six and a half hour Murder Mystery Train ride. According to the Tennessee Central Railway Museum website:

Enjoy an excursion train ride on a restored classic streamlined stainless steel passenger train! During this 90-mile round trip enjoy a short progressive murder mystery play performed right in your car during the trip to and from Watertown! Act I takes place on the eastbound trip and Act II takes place on the Westbound trip. Each Act is about 5 to 7 minutes long since the play actors repeat the play in every car on the train. During the layover in Watertown, visit the restaurants for lunch and shop the stores around the square.

The website also mentions that during the layover in Watertown, you can visit the restaurants for lunch and shop the stores around the square. It sounds like a really fun trip! You can take advantage of the next Murder Mystery Train Excursion on Saturday, July 20th. Boarding begins at 10 a.m. with a departure time of 11 a.m. You'll be returning around 6 p.m. that evening.
